This 3-star quality rated self catering bungalow is located in one of the most delightful areas of West Wight in a quiet position that is well situated on a small, attractive brick-built coastal development of privately owned holiday homes.

 

The bungalow itself is set on high ground with beautiful uninterrupted views over the surrounding gently undulating countryside as well over the Solent and the Channel. It is just a short walk from Colwell Bay with its lovely unspoilt sand and shingle beach and within easy reach of all the Island's many attractions.

 

There is a patio at the front of the building that is ideal for enjoying the best of the weather and the abundant sunshine as it is south-facing. Access is via a sliding door directly off the lounge. 

                                                              

 

Well Equiped Kitchen at Cliff EndThe well equipped kitchen is ideal for a self catering holiday and has everything you could possibly need in your holiday accommodation such as a four-ring electric cooker with oven and grill, microwave, electric kettle, toaster, coffee percolator, refrigerator, iron and ample storage cupboards.

 

Comforttable Lounge with Large OS MapThe comfortable lounge has a large wall-mounted Ordnance Survey map of the island for your interest and convenience.

There is a comfortable double sofa-bed, two comfy armchairs, dining table and chairs, electric coal-effect fire and a High Definition widescreen LCD TV with a built-in DVD player. The TV receives the usual terrestrial channels plus several of the Freeview ones. There is also a small selection of books to read and a few games to play.

From the patio window of this bungalow at Cliff End there are spectacular views over the open surrounding rolling countryside of this quiet peninsular on the west side of the Island which is designated as an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (A.O.N.B.). Cliff End is just a short distance from the west of Yarmouth and the ferry terminal in one direction and from the lovely unspoilt beach of Colwell Bay in the other.

The main bedroom has a luxury double bed, a fitted wardrobe with drawers, bedside lights and a wall mirror.  

 

 

 

Second Bedroom with Twin Beds

The second bedroom has twin beds a fitted wardrobe with built-in drawers, bedside lights and a wall mirror.

 

 

 

 

There is a bathroom which has a full-size bath, toilet, electric shower, basin, mirror and shaver point. The electricity is supplied via a meter which takes £1 coins.

You will need to bring your own towels, pillow-slips and pairs of sheets as bed linen is not supplied

The Cliff End development of privately owned holiday homes has a management Site Office with a Reception area to answer any queries that you may have during your stay.

This office is open from 9am to 4pm Monday to Saturday in the summer months with limited opening times during the rest of the year. The Site Office telephone number is 01983 755933.

There is a launderette for holiday visitors to use in the Site Office Reception block that is open for most of the year from 8am to 6pm.

Next to the launderette is a shop which is well stocked with most holiday needs such as groceries, newspapers, beach toys, ice creams, etc.
